Revered as a cultural destination, Newfoundland and Labrador is a special place full of stories and memories, hopes and dreams. But culture is not simply a sea shanty, a pair of home knit wool socks, a carving, or even an exhibit at The Rooms – it’s the way we live our everyday lives and illuminates what we, as a community, value. Linking Indigenous and contemporary music, poetry, visual and dance traditions, we will explore the vibrant traditions of our culture so that they remain relevant in the complex, rapidly changing social environment of the 21^st century.
