About The Choir

Founded in 2003 by Kellie Walsh, Lady Cove Women’s Choir was named after the remote community of Lady Cove on Newfoundland’s rugged yet beautiful east coast. The name Lady Cove is representative of the spirit and philosophy of the Choir: a community – a haven where woman-identified members come, not only to explore their own musicianship, but to share their lives and experiences in a sisterhood.

Lady Cove ROCKS!

Lady Cove ROCKS is back on Saturday, June 4 and it’s gonna be a DRAG! Our signature event of the season, featuring The Halliday Band and drag artist, Keith Power, promises to be a night of fun for everyone! Limited tickets available.


Dream for Me

Join us on Sunday, March 27 for an afternoon of lullabies for reflection and meditation, featuring new works by Eastern Owl, Matthew Byrne, Natasha Blackwood, Leslee Heys, David Buley, and James Hurley.

Workshops with Michael Zaugg

Matthew Byrne & Lady Cove

In spring 2017, we had the delight of collaborating with acclaimed folk artist, Matthew Byrne, on a concert “Come Fare Away”… now it’s a MusicNL & ECMA-nominated live recording!


Warrior with Eastern Owl

In 2019, Lady Cove began a collaboration with Eastern Owl, an Indigenous-led all nations group of women, to explore the bonds of sisterhood in an atmosphere of sharing, learning, and growth.
